Sorry I've been slackin on the blog lately. Two things you need to cop, Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty which came out July 6th, and Rick Ross's Teflon Don which drops next Tuesday. I've heard that the Rick Ross CD is very impressive. It's only 11 tracks (12 if you get it on iTunes), but with features including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake, John Legend, T.I., Jadakiss, Styles P and more, I'm looking forward to a pretty good album from the BOSS.

Kickin' It Off

I've created this blog to provide links, info etc. about GOOD hip-hop music (in my opinion), stuff that I think people would enjoy if they appreciate the art of hip-hop, and not just the (mostly crappy) stuff you hear on the radio. A lot of the stuff I post on here will not be what's about to hit the radio, but I encourage you to take a listen to the music I put up. It may open your ears to things you never before appreciated/knew about.


I'd like to start this blog off by providing everyone with a link to one of the best mixtapes of 2009 that is way underrated. Chip Tha Ripper gets better by the minute, but most people have only heard of the stuff he's done with CuDi. Don't sleep.
